Performance Commitment & Cancellation Policy
1. Shared Commitment
We provide performance opportunities, venue arrangements, and dedicated marketing to celebrate local musicians at zero cost to performers. Because our team invests significant time, funding and operational resources into producing every event alongside our venue and community partners, we rely on mutual reliability to deliver a smooth, enjoyable experience for our audiences and fellow performers.
2. Late Cancellation Fee
Once a performer confirms an assigned performance time, that slot is officially committed and public promotion begins. Cancellations made less than 10 days before the concert will incur a fee of $100 AUD to assist with emergency rescheduling and program updates.
Late cancellations disrupt the concert program, compromise commitments to our venue and community partners, leave unfilled schedule gaps and cause unrecoverable marketing and coordination rework.
3. Exceptions & Emergencies
The recovery fee is waived in cases of genuine, unavoidable emergencies, including:

Sudden illness, injury, vocal strain or medical advice preventing performance

Urgent personal or family emergencies

Unforeseen circumstances beyond your reasonable control

Please notify our team as soon as possible and provide simple supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate) within 7 days.
4. Process & Communication

Please notify cancellations promptly in writing via email so we can attempt to adjust the program or offer the opportunity to a another performer on standby.

Where a cancellation occurs less than 10 days before the concert without an emergency exemption, an administrative invoice will be issued with standard 14-day payment terms.

Mutual respect for our partners and program keeps this platform free. Honouring commitments ensures performers remain in good standing for future concert invitations.
5. Agreement
Confirming your assigned performance slot via our online confirmation form or email indicates acceptance of this policy.
