Alexander is a talented 10-year-old pianist who has captivated audiences with his love for music. He began learning piano at the age of 5. Alexander has performed in numerous concerts at his music school and has continuously showcased his skills at Newington College’s school events. Notably, he performed at the prestigious Sydney Conservatory of Music during a students concert at an international music festival.
Alexander completed the AMEB comprehensive Grade 6 with Distinction at the age of 8 and is currently preparing for the AMEB Certificate of Performance (CMus) exam. He has honed his craft through masterclasses with distinguished musicians such as Mr. Clemens Leske from the Sydney Conservatory of Music and Professor Misha Namirovsky from the Central Conservatory of Music School in China. His dedication to piano has earned him several prizes in Sydney Eisteddfod, St George Eisteddfod, Ryde Eisteddfod and Wollongong Eisteddfod piano competitions in 2024.
In addition to piano, Alexander is a cellist, playing in a string ensemble. He loves classical music and watches many high quality classical concerts throughout the year to enhance his sensitivity to musical details. His favorite quote is from Ludwig van Beethoven: “To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.”
