Anna Liang

I embarked on my musical journey at age 5 with my first piano lesson. Since then, I have picked up violin at age 7 and continued to explore my musical capabilities. I mainly progressed through AMEB exams for the first ~7 years of my journey, before I entered the Conservatorium High School. This marked a turning point in my musical voyage, when I began to learn pedagogy, partimento, accompaniment, further musicianship, etc. through the Kodaly method. I have since improved my musical analysis, general knowledge, composition and theory as well as my practical ability.

This knowledge was further enriched at the Brisbane Cuskelly Summer School, which I attended twice at the start of 2023 and 2024—an unforgettable experience!

I am currently [2024] preparing for my AMUSA piano exam at the end of this year, and my CMUS violin. I look forward to deepening my understanding and exploring my potential as a musician further!
