Emma Rose Koeswandy

Emma Rose Koeswandy is an Australian-born pianist and violinist, recognized as a distinguished scholar in the Rising Stars program for Piano and Violin at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She holds Associate in Music, Australia (AMusA) diplomas in both instruments and was recently awarded her LMusA in Violin, reflecting her exceptional dedication to musical excellence.

At the age of 11, Emma Rose received the Excellence in Music Award from MLC School for two consecutive years. By 13, she became the youngest winner of the Wollongong Eisteddfod Piano Competition, receiving both the Daphne Dickenson Trophy for Piano Solo and the Jean Christie Memorial Trophy for Open Piano Solo.

In July 2024, she became the youngest Piano Winner of the International Festival and Competition of Music (Open Age) in Iași, Romania. Following this achievement, she was invited to perform at the opening of Piano Street during the Vigo International Piano Competition in Spain. She was also honoured with the 2024 Steinway National Piano Competition Management’s Choice Award and has received multiple solo recital invitations.

Emma Rose is the recipient of the Meriden School Full Music Scholarship and the Kathleen Holmes McCrea Pianoforte and Violin Scholarships through the Rising Stars program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Passionate about using music to connect with others, Emma Rose has been actively involved with Concerts for All community since 2024, sharing the joy and inspiration of music with diverse audiences.
