Eric Zhang

Eric, a 9-year-old boy with passionate musical interests and a sensitive nature. Eric embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of four and a half, and since then, he has developed a profound passion for various musical instruments.

In 2022, at the age of seven, Eric began participating in piano competitions at numerous Eisteddfod events in Sydney, such as Wollongong Eisteddfod, Ryde Eisteddfod, Hawkesbury Eisteddfod and Penrith Eisteddfod,where he has been awarded multiple times 1st and 2nd places in different events each year. Besides, he was awarded in IV Aegio International Piano Competition this month in Sydney University.His dedication to music extends beyond the piano, as he is also learning percussion and the flute. His commitment and enthusiasm have led him to become a valuable member of his school orchestra.

Additionally, Eric has been a cherished member of the Sydney Children’s Choir for over two years. His involvement with the choir has provided him the opportunity to perform in various concerts,such as the concert at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
