Music entered my life when I was 4, in the 2015 Leichhardt Music Festival! Ever since then, I progressed from drum kit to orchestral percussion, extending to piano and pipe organ with my incredible teachers Teresa Gutierrez, Sandy Sin, John Nguyen and Krzysztof Czerwinski. They are not only teaching me with their professionalism and passion, but also guiding me to love the music!
This musical journey has led me to Barker College. I fortunately have met outstandingly supportive music staff and the most inspiration cohort of young musicians across all instruments. It gives me motivation to co-found Sounds of Young Hearts (SOYH) with my primary school friends.
2024 Music journey highlights:
• NSW Solos and Party Championships Open Percussion Champion of Champions
• Second Place in Australian Percussion Eisteddfod 4 Mallet Solo Grade B
• Third place in Australian Percussion Eisteddfod Open Timpani
• Second Place Sydney Eisteddfod Open Age Piano Classical Sonata
• Brian and Julie Powell’s & St Alban’s Anglican Church Organ Scholarship
