Twelve-year-old Isabella Guo is an award-winning young pianist with growing national and international recognition. She began studying music at the age of four and, alongside piano, has explored percussion, organ, and harpsichord.
Isabella is a scholarship student in the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She currently studies piano with Tony Lee, one of Australia’s most highly awarded concert pianists and a former protégé of Maria João Pires, and previously studied with Dr Paul Rickard-Ford. She is also a full music scholar at Sydney Presbyterian Ladies’ College.
Her recent achievements include Third Prize at the 2025 Australian National Piano Competition for Children, Highly Commended in the 2024 Fine Music Young Virtuoso Award (Under 25), top prizes at the Sydney Eisteddfod, and success at the 2024 International Balys Dvarionas Piano Competition in Lithuania.
Isabella performs regularly in major concert series and made her solo recital debut in 2025 at the Steinway Gallery Sydney.
