Otto Puhtajevics

Otto Puhtajevics is a Latvian pianist, organist, harpsichordist, and concert organizer, recognized for his expressive musical personality and compelling stage presence. As an active international performer, he appears regularly in recital and chamber music projects across Europe and beyond, with performances in the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Australia. His artistic development has been enriched through masterclasses and collaborations with distinguished musicians including Vincenzo Balzani, Vsevolod Dvorkin, Jerome Lowenthal, Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist, Eliso Virsaladze, Natalia Trull, as well as Australian musicians Liam Viney and Anna Grinberg. He is a laureate of several international competitions, including First Prizes at the Concorso Musicale Città di Filadelfia (Italy), the Tadini International Music Competition (Italy), and the Kamerton-Solist III International Competition (Armenia). These achievements have led to orchestral debut appearances in Prague and Italy, further strengthening his international artistic profile. In recent years, Australia has become an important part of his artistic journey, where he is establishing a growing presence through recital performances, collaborations with churches, concert presenters, and musical institutions, while developing long-term artistic projects and contributing to Australia's concert life, particularly in Sydney.
