Raphael Jonah Tan

Raphael Jonah Tan began piano studies at six and has since developed a strong passion for music. He earned his AMEB Piano Diploma (AMusA) with Distinction at the age of thirteen and has received multiple awards at the Sydney and Ryde Eisteddfods.

Jonah studies piano and French horn at the Sydney Conservatorium High School, performing regularly with the school orchestra, choir, and the Cantate Deo Youth Orchestra.

He is a Gold Award recipient of the Finlandia International Piano Competition 2026. As a prize winner, he has been selected to perform at the Gala Concert & Award Ceremony in Finland and is eligible for a scholarship to attend the masterclass and recital program. Jonah is also the First Prize winner of the Franz Liszt Centre International Piano Competition 2026.
