Steven He & Enci Chen

STEVEN HE
Steven He is a 14-year-old saxophonist from Barker College and the 2026 NSW State Champion of Champions in the Under 15 Alto Saxophone Division. He is the tenor saxophonist of the award-winning Apex Sax Quartet, which won First Place in the 2026 Sydney Eisteddfod Chamber Music 15 Years and Under division. In 2025, Steven and his chamber ensemble also won First Prize in the Yamaha National Championship of Junior Chamber Quintet. A dedicated and accomplished young musician, Steven continues to distinguish himself through his exceptional musicianship, ensemble artistry and confident performances.

ENCI CHEN
Enci Chen is a talented 12-year-old multi-instrumentalist performing on piano, saxophone and oboe. He was awarded Second Place in the 2024 Multi-Instrumentalist Competition, and in 2026 received High Distinction in the A.Mus.A. Saxophone examination, an outstanding achievement at her age. Enci is the core soprano saxophonist of Saxit 4, which placed Third in the 2026 Sydney Eisteddfod Chamber Music 15 Years and Under division. In 2025, His chamber ensemble won First Prize in the Yamaha National Championship of Junior Chamber Quintet. His versatility, musicality and extensive performance experience make him a distinctive and exciting young performer.
