Symphony Shi

Symphony Shi, a Year 8 music scholarship student at Meriden School, started piano at age 5 and is currently enrolled in the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney Conservatorium, studying with renowned Australian concert pianist Grace Kim. At 13, she has already achieved her AMEB Piano LMusA. Her dedication has helped her achieve several awards, including wins at the Sardoal International Piano Competition, Future Stars International Piano Competition, and Play Bach International Piano Competition. Notably, she won the American Protege International Piano & Strings Competition, which led to a performance at Carnegie Hall. Symphony has also received the Golden Sound Award and a Special Prize for the highest score representing Australia. Additionally, she has earned prestigious prizes at the Sydney Eisteddfod and performed as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House in 2022. Symphony is passionate about sharing her music idea to her audiences, and hopes her performances bring joy to them.
