Symphony Shi

Symphony Shi is a Year 9 music scholar student at Meriden School. She began playing piano at age 5, was accepted into the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at age 8, where she studied under Professor Ms. Grace Kim. She is currently under the guidance of Mr. Scott Lam.

She performed as a soloist at the Sydney Opera House for the Cantabile Music Festival 2023 and earned her L.Mus.A. in 2024. Symphony has also won numerous international piano competitions and many prizes in the Sydney Eisteddfod. She was also invited to the Sydney Eisteddfod Alf & Pearl Pollard Memorial Instrumental Awards for Performance Excellence (13-15 Years) in 2024. Other than that, she has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists Ewa Pobłocka and Angela Hewitt. Symphony aspires to become a passionate pianist.
